FROM SOURCE TO SEVERN

Stroud based painter Angie Spencer has spent the last year following the journey of Gloucestershire River Frome from its source near Birdlip through Stroud and down to the River Severn at Upper Framilode. 

The resulting series of plein air oil paintings capture the variety of landscapes the river passes through as well as the changing seasons from summer drought to snow and spring flood.
